This document outlines the standard checklists and review procedures for maintaining store image and operational excellence across different management levels.

Store Visit Standards Checklist by Store Manager

This checklist is intended for the Store Manager to conduct daily or weekly self-assessments to ensure all fundamental store standards are met.

General Store Appearance

Exterior

Signage is clean, undamaged, and illuminated (if applicable). Storefront windows are clean and free of excessive clutter/tape. Walkway/entrance is clean and clear.

Interior Walls/Floors

Walls are clean and free of scuffs/marks. Flooring is clean, dry, and undamaged.

Lighting

All fixtures are working and at the proper brightness.

Temperature/Comfort

Store temperature is comfortable for customers and employees.

Landscaping

Grass mowed, trees trimmed, properly mulched, and free of trash.

Dumpster area

Nothing on the ground, doors closed.

Outdoor lighting

All signage and outdoor lighting working properly.

Merchandising and Presentation

Fixtures & Displays

All fixtures are clean, fully stocked, and organized according to planograms. Displays are current and well-maintained.

Parts and Supply Shelves

Back stock areas are organized, labeled, and easily accessible. No overstock on the floor.

Cleanliness

All shelves, products, and displays are dusted and wiped clean.

Operations and Back of House

Service Manager Desk

Area free of clutter and plenty of space to work.

Restrooms

Restrooms are clean, stocked with supplies (soap, paper towels), and in good working order.

Employee Areas

The breakroom and office are clean and organized. Lockers/personal items are neat.

Safety & Security

Emergency exits are clear. First-aid kit is stocked. Security tags and devices are functioning.

Employee appearance

Shirts tucked in, no hats being worn by the store leadership, no hoodies being worn.


Store Visit Checklist Completed by RTM/RD

This checklist is used by the RTM/RD during store visits to ensure we maintain proper store image as it relates to the interior, landscaping, signage, warehouse, shop area, dumpster area and employee appearance.

Camera Review by RD

The Regional Director (RD) conducts a periodic review of store security camera footage to ensure store image standards are being upheld.  If issues are found the RD will connect wth the RTM to ensure we address any sub standard image problems.
